This looks like they took a 350Z stillen kit front mount W2A and made it fit on a 370. That ic looks like the one I had on mine. This design doesn't fix anything other than maybe avoiding some heat...

Here is the volute clocked 180. A 45 degree coupler fits well off the end.

With it spiking lean, I'd keep it out of boost even if it seems fine. Honestly, with any fueling issue like that I'd garage it until I know what's going on.
