Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

Not sure where to begin but here goes. This is my third boosted z for starters. My first was a 350z with the aps TT kit. Blew the stock motor on that and went with a built block, sold the car shortly...

So... You want to raise the rev limiter... If you raise the rev limiter it shifts later... That's just the way it works... There isn't an EXTRA step

When & where in this thread did you say drag racing times? And why limit your mods when you're going to run slicks anyways? Why not just go balls to the wall
