Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

This is the first dude that has actually come in with a realstic budget. Not one of the ones that thinks I'll spend $7k on my kit and that's it.

And makes MORE power and torque, and you don't have to upgrade any part of it out of the box, and there's no regret afterward, and you don't own a Stillen or GTM product...should I keep going? ...

Exactly. He shipped the stuff he had around the shop or the stuff he had mat'l laying around to be able to make it. All the stuff that took external work/purchasing got left out.
