    Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

    The 3.3 will help you out for sure, my car is mainly for the street as well. I am not sure who else has made the switch besides my self.

    Definitely switch to the same FD gear as Mr. Squeeze. He seems to be quite happy with his setup with improved traction and less frequent shifting.

    I strongly suggest you RE-11, you will not have traction in first gear no mater what tires you have unless you go for drag tires which is unstreetable.. There is Yokohama AD08 that I will try when...
