Look up 73draggy on YouTube. He built his VR38 engine from a rejected/recalled long block. It's pretty neat with his attention to detail... almost OCD! I'd like to slowly build something like this on the side one day. It won't be anything too crazy - maybe a Stage 1 which can handle 600 whp or so.

Update!! Sorry for late update guys I was out of country I asked the Manager to take some photos for me while I am away to keep this forum tuned. But he got busy the whole week no pictures was...

It will blow up on a stock block? You know that for a fact? What are you basing that on? Do you have any firsthand experience with a boosted 370? I guess all of the guys with turbo setups on stock...

If the intercooler pipes are bead rolled (as they all should be) there is no way a coupler should ever come off with proper T-bolt clamps. I have built intercooler pipe kits this way for a long time,...

Coupler blown off somewhere probably. Or burned out wastegate gasket perhaps

Reliability is only going to be as good as the tune, install and supporting mods. You can't make blanket statements like "FI is unreliable on a track".

This would be gravity my friend. The oil at the top is draining down so its thinner and thus lighter. :ugh2:

I have come to the conclusion that the instructions that come with the HKS EVC6 is terrible...

:iagree: I Have the HKS EVC 6 also. The directions need to be revised for more setups. Especially TT setups.
