Sweet! Yea, I'm close to 450 whp and 380 lb-ft at ~9 PSI with Sam's tune. It's pretty rich, so even Tony@FI is surprised his HFCs are holding up well. Talk to Joe about the full face ceramic disk. The DXD street disk will melt and weld to the flywheel if you were to drag it. The latest HD CSC has a slightly different bearing surface as well. So I may do things one step at a time by getting the new down pipes and 3" exhaust and figure out what the boost levels are at.

Yeah I might contact turbosmart and see if they recommend something else, I would love to have no compressor surge but I could live with this if I had to. I'm still on the stock clutch, haven't put the southbend back in, now you have me considering the ceramic disk version lol. It's holding up well for low boost, 8-10psi on Sams tune which is probably ~440whp. I'm taking the car to Vince at R/T tuning in a few weeks to have him go over the tune and just clean up the AFR etc.

Ditto, I get it at half throttle and boost pressure barely a few PSI peak. Glad you joined the club. How's the clutch treating you? After switching to the ceramic disk and taking Joe's advice, my car is so much fun to drive on a daily basis now.

He basically said the next softer spring offered would be too soft and stay open at idle. The compressor surge doesn't happen nearly as often for me anymore, I can only really get it to happen if im in a high gear like 5th/6th and I go WOT at low rpm for a bit and release the throttle quickly.

Did you get a response from Sam about the compressor surge? Just wondering if you decided to switch out the springs.
