Plasti dip on rear diffuser?

Nah... it was painted from a shop, but over the years it started chipping. I've since reapplied satin black paint to the parts that were chipped.

Oh okay I see. How much did the shop charge you to get that done?

I don't remember. I think $100? Looking back it's something you can easily do on your own with a spray can. Since it's matte or satin finish, you won't see much imperfections at all. I wanted to do this and later get the CF insert, but decided to save up for a new bumper later.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking right now. I might just go with Plasti dip for now. Saving up to get the Amuse rear bumper and maybe pair it with the raptor front bumper.

Yea... it's a good look. It doesn't end up looking silly, so it's better than nothing. I'd like to do the new NISMO conversion. It'll bring in plenty of air for my intercooler and oil cooler hehe.

Lucky you have an oil cooler lol. I have a 2011 Z and it didn't come with one, not that I really need it anyway since I don't track my Z.

Haha... not lucky. It's aftermarket. I don't track mine either, but it get's pretty toasty in the summertime. I got the 9" SPAL fan waiting to get installed. The car is too low, so I can't push it through from underneath LOL.

At least it's something lol but I e never had my cars oil temp go past 220 and it's hot here in Tennessee right now. Lol did you lower your car? And I just got done Plasti dipping my rear valance and did a horrible job haha. Edges all crappy

Yea, lowered on Swift. It settled, and it feels like greater than 1" drop. I might need some new shocks or something. Did you carefully mask the bumper? Mask the edges, and then start covering most of the bumper with newspaper. After paint dries, peel and remove, and you'll have a nice edge. Yea I read your area is getting hit with record temps. It's starting to reach 100s here the past week. I'm not really looking forward to it. Ugh.
