I am not certified at all, however I have been working on cars since I was about 11 years old in fact I built my first engine pretty much by myself when I was 12. I have contemplated getting certified and going through the classes. But basically all I really have is about 10 years of experience working on cars/trucks, bikes, anything with wheels!
oops, forgot to answer your second question
it is manual. She feels an automatic would not be as fast as a manual (yeah, she used to work for a driving-school). Although I told here that with over 300 horses under the hood on a piece of rock 16 miles long it would not really matter, she insisted on manual, as she considers this more "sport like". So here you understand why I don't need any mods. She is going fast enough as it is.
Yeah, it's for my wife indeed. I prefer to drive my motorcycle on this sunny island. I got an old chev.S10 pickup as backup for those 2 or 3 days a year when it rains.
My wife takes really good care of me, so I feel she's worth it :-)
Hi there,
long time didn't sign on, so it is only now that I read your message...
Mods?? None I think. I am living on an island with a total length of 16 miles, 4 miles wide.
So the way the car is is already like 1000% overkill for this small piece of rock. I just bought the car because my wife loves it. She is the one driving it.
I wouldn't want here to go any faster than she already does.
:-)
