i scuffed my parts up.... then sprayed a plastic promotor on them then used dupont chromabase base coat black... then shot a semi gloss automotive clear... all the paints were dupont and shot through a gun
Naw I tore the 3M tape off numerous times and put more on without leaving any residue...I suggest buying an extra roll from autozone so you can double up in areas along the bottom so it doesn't move. And forget the stealership....I'll never let them do anything to my car again. And whenever you decide to pull it off get some of that spray for bugs and goo, and it'll come off easily. If you have trouble heat it up w/ a blow dryer. They convinced and charged me $145 dollars to hold the power window button down to recalibrate it, after I unhooked the battery to install fog light. Then I looked up the answer on here, and felt dumb.
It is a 3M film same guy who did my invisible bra it comes in blue, yellow,or gray tint it is alot thicker than the invisible bra material there is a company in SA that ships anywhere in the US
Hell yea it was hard, crap kept popping off on either side when I would put the other on. I had to buy more tape, and put a bunch on. A small bit of the clear coat plastic cracked on the bottom but not visible....Then again I'm not really good at installing anything without F'ing something up...hahah
