Oh-- yeah, the strings pop really quickly. I MAYBE played five or six times before they popped.

Go get yourself some new shoes & play!

I do hit properly-- I have pretty good form. My net game's pretty weak, though. Luckily, I move well & can get to most shots.

I've been playing in these this year. I honestly just bought them because I thought they were cool looking, haha. They're SUPER comfortable-- the no tongue thing is awesome. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I have 2 babolat rackets and i normally pop both of my rackets within 2 weeks.
And when u say that lower tension feels better and that higher tension seems to be harder, might be due to your position!
Always make sure that you start swinging when the ball is infront of you!
I still see kids that hit the ball too late and thats why it feels uncomfortable because its hit incorrectly therefore hurting ur elbow/wrist. Always remember to bend your knees, move that racket back, left hand to measure the distance, as u swing through the ball pull your left hand in so that you really rotate your shoulders! And make sure you are lifting off from your bent position! All this talking about tennis is making me want to play!

When the racquet's strung too tightly, I never feel like I always over hit-- like the ball bounces off too strong. When it's strung more loose, it feels like I have more control & that I can place the ball more easily.

I don't have my racquet on me (it's being restrung), but looking at Tennis Warehouse, I think I am using the Hurricanes.

I should know what I'm using-- I just told them, "Hit me with the house brand."

Okay so when the string is tighter that means the tension is higher which means you get more top spin from a higher tension! The lower the tension the less control you have but the more power you gain! I recently started stringing my racket's @ 58! I either used Luxilon Big Bangers or Babolat Pro Hurricane's. I like the hurricanes!
What strings do you have on your current racket? If you read carefully on the strings there should be some printings of the brand and the string name usually!

It's prestrung-- not sure what setting. I'll just get it restrung when I get it (unless it's luckily what I like).

The club I play at is a Babolat pro shop, so I've been using their strings & liking them. I don't remember what model it is, though.

I'd been using a Prince (Prince O3 White Racquet) for a while & popped a string last night & borrowed the club's test racquet. I'd been wanting to try a Babolat. I fell in love, man. It wasn't strung as I like it (too taught-- I swing pretty hard, so I like them looser to add spin), but once I got used to it, I was ALL about it.

That's a great choice!

I love the feel of the racket feels real solid.
