Hey chuck...thanks for the response in the intake thread...I have a few more questions...I just know very little about engine work so sorry if I sound like an idiot lol...besides the MAF short part of the intake do they also carry a silicone piece that bends down and outside the engine bay like the other long tube intakes?

That's exactly what they do. These cats can hold up to FI perfectly fine if they're not 2" off the back of the turbos.

The idle gets raised to 1k rpm when that code pops. Clearing it will drop the idle back to where it normally is. P0300 is a real pain in the *** since the ecu uses it as a general catch all code when...

The reason to move them back is to get them out of the way of the much higher temps that the cats would see in a FI application. Moving them downstream will still be hot enough for them to light off....

Don't seafoam the car, or do literally anything else, until you get the code. That's step one.
