How did you get the wiring fed back to the radio?

I pushed the wire down between the windshield and dash and ran it to the right around the edge to the passenger door. From there you can push it under the edge of the dash all the way down into the passenger footwell. Then I tucked it under the front of the carpet in the passenger foot well adn brought it up behind the center console.

Did the antenna run into a seperate standalone brain or did it plug directly into the headunit.
