Hey Joe...Thanks again for the run...I am very impressed with that 14.4 stock that you ran...Good Job...I guess a little pressure never hurts huh?! Was great talking to you and thanks for all the tips...I have figured that I will need more seat time..will be taking a break this week...will head up to the track in about a week or two...See you around
I've got my eye on the SZ Clutch/Flywheel Product...So far so good...If it doesn't encounter any of the CSC issues as with the other clutches then I may bite on this one...Like their price too
I hear you on parts...It takes so long to get here to Guam and Shipping either is an issue or is expensive...Really wish that parts would arrive a lot quickier..
About the times, our cars would be able to break mid to low 13's bone stock if we were on the state side where its a lot more cooler...With the Humidity, Temperature, and weather factors here on Guam, 14's are a pretty respectable time....IMO it would be very hard to break 13's bone stock....so your time really isn't that bad...I am very close to breaking 13's with my last 14.1, so I will shoot up to the track tomorrow night to try and break it...If not, I'm pretty content with the time I'm doing right now...would be nice to break 13's though
sweet. or car responds to mods like a 4.6mustang, well almost. i didnt know it was you until i seen the message you left jon. no offense but i didnt know you had all that, couldnt really hear your exhaust. i blame the HFC and the crossfire. the crossfire cant be stock, i thought you would destory the crossfire but he was actually holding up very well against you. i didnt take the car even though conditions (for guam) for pretty ideal and plus i think im going to wait on my ksport coilovers too. if i get the cobb flash tuner in time, it should be here about the same time as the coilovers. the coilovers i got are special order, not sure how to feel about that but all i know is that it takes too long. my best as stock was a lousey 14.6 looks bad when you should be in the mid 13's :/ im trying to decide what to get after the cobb tuner...3" aam comp exhaust with ti tips (or greddy but aam has ALOT less of a bend if you look at the pics) or a differential.
Cool...Didn't see your car in the pit that night...Did you park in the visitor's/spectator area? Only thing I've done to the car was change my Exhaust...running the Berk HFC/CBE Combo...I'm really impressed...Ran the Z three months prior bone stock and best time I did was 14.8....
Did you see me run against that Black Crossfire? That thing freaked me out...wasn't expecting him to give me a run for my money...Not sure what he's running, but that thing is pretty quick...My quicker reaction time is what got me the win!!! Ran a 14.2 that time.
Launches get pretty tricky up there at the track...Especially out of the Launch box...where its 100% concrete....Still feeling out the track, as that was only my second time up at the strip...Will head up there this Friday and try and break 13's....Check me out if you're up there...Usually park in the back of the pit with my friends when I'm not running...(Gino)
i was there when you ran the 14.1 good job man. i like your lauches, it was a really good night to race. i didnt run, im waiting on my ksport coilovers. if you dont mind, what do you have done to the car?
Hey man...great to see another Z member from Guam...Way to represent...Did you order the GT Exhaust yet? I think by getting an exhaust you pretty much seperate yourself from the rest of the Z's here on island...Only a handful of guys have exhausts on their 370's Best of luck
