I went with what Ryan @ Forged suggested....he created this devil of a set of wheels & rims with me simply agreeing to it. Seems DannyGT had 285's on the front at one point and he had to scale down to 265. So, I'm guessing you can go even bigger if you're willing to try it. I can say this....it sticks like glue!
ohh rubbing, that doesnt sound good. is it severe rubbing or just minimal when you take corners hard? i heard you should be able to get 305 width tire on the 370z without a sweat, but i guess its mostly because your lowered right? hope that fixes it for you!
So far so good.....just working on stopping the rubbing thats happening due to the plastic pins on the inside of the fender near the top. I'm going for a corner balancing and alignment this Friday. DannyGT had the same issue and those two things helped him. Hopefully it'll do the same for me!
So far, none at all. Outside of adding the coilovers that was all. Forged put them all together for me down in GA. and they shipped 'em to Altered Atmosphere in MD. I wasnt there when they switched out the stocks but from what I understand it was just a quick switch.
Hey, looks like you are talking with Ryan over in the wheels/tire thread. I believe they are lighter but you may want to ask Ryan in the thread. I actually sent him a pm so if he doesn't answer there I'll let you know via PM.
RWD as a general rule of thumb handles better than awd because you are using all of the grip in the front tires to steer, not to steer and drive the car. AWD is nice, loads of traction there, but RWD handles better.
