I have never taken the shift knob off. Just pulled up the ring and worked around it. Make sure to put some tape down around behind the ring.

Matt, gotta question for ya. You may or may not know, Im sure you'll know though. So I was trying to do my 1st Mod today, and I wondering how the hell do you take off the shift knob, any ideas? I tried twisting and turning, it would not come off. Please help.

I love the IDQ. I put it in my truck, but the enclosure (at less than .7 cubic ft) doesn't do it justice. I may upgrade to 2 ID12's or maybe an IDMax 12!

hey, I'm currently reading AK's installation thread and had some questions. If I dont want sirius radio and rear view camera, what parts do I need to purchase?

-Kenwood DNX6140
-Scosche NN04B 2007 - Up Nissan Radio Wiring Harness
-Scosche NAA2B 2007 - Up Nissan Versa Antenna Adapter

are those the only things i need to purchase? What do I need to buy if I want to use the standard steering wheel control (volume, track, etc)? I really appreciate the help
