    Despite the silliness, what you describe is normal wear and tear. Rocks, pieces of stick, pieces of road, all that good stuff. It has to match with the rock chips in the paint. Kirk B.

    That bluing is totally normal. And pretty. No. Unless the TPs are improperly mounted, they are not hitting the frame or engine. The scratches and dents are most likely from misc road debris...

    You can easily prevent the bluing from happening - never start the engine. :)

    The whole point of cats is to get hot (400*+F) to burn off incompletely consumed fuel. The blue is a side affect of that. Kirk B.
