Its not even about the breed its about the owners. A Chihuahua can be "more vicious" than a pitbull because the Chihuahua was abused as a puppy and in its years. Yeah more damage can be done than a Chihuahua, but take Great Danes, Mastifs, and Akita's; they are all bigger and can do more damage than a pitbull, but the dogs aren't abused into being fighting dogs.

Looks like Optimiser is optimistic as an abuser which is why he is afraid of a pitbull mauling him when the pit has had to much abuse. And I saw that optimizer was on yesterday 1/7/2016 so I hope his pitbull hating ignorance sees this and does some more research.

More reason on why Australia just out right Bans things and it works is because they do not have the same type of morons that America does by thinking its a great idea to disobey the law. They have different types of morons, like you for instance.

Half America's population says Screw you don't take my guns, the other half doesn't care because they will disobey the law regardless and have their gun.
