Yup. The manufacturer does private label manufacturing to spec. powertrix's tubes and shock are made to their specs. There will be variations between labels of course. I've met die hard Z guys from San Diego whose been on powertrix since their Z32, Z33, and now Z34. Charles' Z32 still has the original prototype in good condition. I also like that it is rebuildable so this will be the last one that I'll be buying (at least that's the plan). He can do it on site. Just drive the car down to his shop and he'll do it right there.
BC Racing coils aren't bad and a lot of guys in the forum have them. Lots of them are happy with it. Talk to you later.

I heard rumors Stance are now built in S.Korea so I guess it's true after all. Not sure if being made in Korea means higher quality than TW stuff, but I guess time will tell, my genesis is built in SK and quality control is very much sub par, although my BC coils made in TW was pretty good so who knows. I do like the fact that you can get the swift springs replacement, and for the price you're paying it's hard to pass up. Hopefully I'll see you this sat to check them out. Good luck with the install bro, it's pretty exciting your car will feel a little different with the full sway bars on.

I met him last May at Palomar Mountain with Randy Rodriguez - the designer of the 370Z. There was a group buy for the c/o and he gave me the gb pricing for the super street coilover set up. No c/o are made in the US now a days. His manufacturing facility is in Korea and does private labels for such companies such as Stance, DriftWorks, KTS, and Buddy Club. You've heard of these set ups and where they are used by guys in the industry. Powertrix tubes are made in this facility while the springs are made in Japan. BC Racing c/o's are made in Taiwan.

That is a great combo deal! Is that their normal offering or some special Promo deal for you only? Are the coils made in US? Where can I read more? It just sounds too good to be true bro, I'm very curious and skeptic due to the price, you are right about them being best kept secret, I don't see many reviews on these on the forum, their vendor section seems pretty empty as well.

Got a great deal from Charles. $1771 installed. C/O, Swift option, hotchkis sways, and set up (height and damping adjustment - this takes forever). He'll be doing the hole and plug set up with a T-bar tool to adjust rear dampers so I do not have to remove panels if I need to adjust.

btw, powertrix has been around for 10 years now. well known in the z32 world. I think this is a best kept secret kind of thing. My buddies from San Diego speak highly of his products and services. I know what they mean when it comes to his service. so far so good. can't wait for Friday.

Awesome, how much for the powertrix and swift combo? And by test ride I mean you drive me around heheh, I don't feel comfortable driving other people's car lowered, especially yours.

Yup. Install with Hotchkis sways and the swift spring option this Friday. Test ride - sure. I'll probably be leaving it the way Charles from powertrix have it set for a week before I play with the damper settings.

Powertrix? I'd like a test ride around the block to see how they feel if you don't mind, I decided to pick up a set of swift for now until I sell the wheels. If you're look g for coil that offer swift spring upgrade, BC offers that option, just saw it in some ones picture album.
