Rocking em on my G37s. Really great intakes, I wanted the Gen3s but not willing to cut just in case I ever do sell her.

I think these are great and does the job. The G3's causes problems on the AC lines. Lot's of documented incidences. My shop alone did 11 G3 to Takeda swaps --- all Z's. Stillen recommends silicone rubber to be fitted on the AC line where the intake tube rests. Despite this, Stillen does not supply the fitting. I just do not want to take the risk.

I wasn't aware they did that to the Z. Not surprised they don't suppy the rubber fittings. I mean come on, thats a whole 40 cents they lose on each sell. They cant have that.

i have G3 and the cutting is minimal. its on the duct, all u need to do is make it a little wider, its easy maybe 10 min on each side if you have a drill with a sharp tool attached to it. after that everything is so easy to install. and about the ac line, stillen sends the rubber to put on top off the ac line. i have had mine for 4 months, no problem at all. works fine. last time i checked the rubber was still there.

Sorry to hear. Happens more often than necessary. Get a thick silicone tube that you can use to wrap over the ac line and prevent rubbing. You should have that fixed in no time.
