    Dry sump here and while I can run 8000+ its soooooo lazy up there. Torque really falls off past 7200 on the factory setup. Trying not to jump to hr heads just yet.

    You can run and make power at 8,000 rpm. But not for long. As mention, the stock oil pump is the weak link. I've bounced mine off of 8,000 a few times doing trackdays. Waiting for it to go BOOM one...
