Coming from a long line of Z's, 370 included, its not as punchy or quick. But its VERY close, and my butt dyno says its quicker than my 370 from a roll. Handling is pretty good, you do feel the weight though. I have the 8 speed auto with paddles. First "performance" car Ive owned with an auto. I got the auto because south florida traffic is...insane. Thats why I got rid of the Z for the Genesis. I couldnt enjoy the car, its too high strung for me at my advanced age of 36 (lol). Everyone always wanted to race, got real tired. Plus, it was base with sport so it had NOTHING options wise. A radio. So now I have peanut butter leather, NAV/Entertainment display, hands free, voice activated everything, moon roof. I can start and track my car from iphone...tech is crazy for a $33k car. All in all, I love it. Does everything I want at this point in my life. 18K miles on it and only thing wrong is my moonroof switch is sticking sometimes. If you test drive one make sure the car is warmed up and temperature is above 250. Before i bought the 370 i test drove a 3.8 Genny, salesman didnt know squat. I loved the interior and tech but was underwhelmed with performance. Car was cold and sluggish. It wakes up when its warmed up.
