    Personally I don’t recommend down shifting to 1st. Let gear 2 do the work if you’re going that slow or need to stop clutch in and break.

    My guess would be the potency of the octane degraded due to sitting for so long. You can add an additive for this. Most auto stores like AutoZone, Napa, O Riley’s Etc carry this product and recommend...
