Looking great man.
|
Got damn. Mirin hard.
|
How difficult was it to remove those fender flares? Did you have to remove the wheel well liner? What tools did you use?
|
They just have platic screws in the wheel well and double sided tape. The pieces on the bumper have rivets that have to be drilled out.
|
Can you drive the Z up your front driveway without scratching with that drop?
|
Sure can. Don't have any pictures of it, but it's not too steep. I have only scraped the little plastic trim hanging under the bumper so far driving around town. It's not bad, but I have also been driving a low car for 15+ years.
|
So it's been a long time since I updated with pictures, so here are some from a recent Paul Walker memorial meet.
Additions since the last photos are the vinyl wrapped black metallic roof, airlift 3H kit, Top Secret Engine cover, and Gen 3 intakes. Not installed yet, but ordered a Top Secret gold oil cap and have an ARC combo tank waiting to go on. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/674/2...a73d196e_b.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/598/2...f85ab19a_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5810/...7685c1f2_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5698/...876782c2_b.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/692/2...7f3c0e03_b.jpg https://farm1.staticflickr.com/650/2...9c01f744_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5805/...7c8faf59_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5644/...e2cdaa78_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5628/...e802c2ee_b.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5794/...ecfe69ed_b.jpg |
In those pix from when you had KW V3's, were the rears maxed out as low as they go?
|
As far as it would go with the adjustment ring still in place yes.
|
Thanks. I'd like to go a little bit lower, but SPL Midlinks should solve that

Carbon Signal side blades installed.

Front is on, will be getting some better pictures here shortly, my camera phone skills aren't doing it any justice.

I also have an APR splitter sitting in the garage, It was a toss up between the two, I may switch it up, just have to decide if i want to cut up the bottom of the front bumper yet.
|
Looks good, but to low for me. It will drive me nuts every time I hear scrape.
|
He's bagged so it's not a problem.
DPE, car looks insane man!!! I swear if I wasn't getting a C7 next I'd probably do a 15 conversion. |

I mean instead of the carbon signal lip not in conjunction with. Already tried it with and yes it is way too busy. I am talking about possibly replacing the carbon signal lip with the APR splitter in the future

Not too many cars on here I cut a second eye at other than my own, but dammit man, you hit it with that one............... Kudos to you!!! |
So I'm seriously slacking on getting any decent pictures of the car lately. Here are a handful of things I've been up to.
https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1595/...eed55bb6_c.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1588/...b492045b_c.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1541/...d3f2f0ca_c.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1615/...519eb571_c.jpg Kind of accidental shot, but you can see most of the air setup here, tank is closest to the rear under the floor as well. Only thing lost was the spare tire which didn't fit over my brakes anyway. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1677/...54d3e54d_c.jpg ...and just because everyone loves a bbk reflecting off of some shiny lips lol https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1518/...bda2a9ef_c.jpg I also have an APR splitter sitting in the garage begging to go on still. The CS kit is nice, but even with air it can be a pain. Sometime I love it other times, it is more of a worry than it's worth IMO |
those wheels though :yum:
Im going to be doing the 2015 body conversion soon and I already have the CS lip. Was thinking about putting swifts on at the same time. Bad idea? I guess ill see how much of a pain it is after the lip is installed? |
Had some beach weather, decided to stop and take a few pictures.

Been a while since I updated. Bought a new home so the Z has been on the back burner. Snagged an older Nismo Hatch, still impartial on which I like better. When I first put it on, I loved it, now I kinda miss the old one. I'll give it some time to grow on me, but at least it's a fairly easy swap.

What size hoses and fittings did you use for your ARC tank? I ended up using -12AN but yours seem to be smaller, or maybe it's just the picture.

Honestly... I like more with your OEM 2015 rear hatch ;)
But the car still looking badass even with older nismo hatch  |
