I think around that time is when he added air suspension. That allowed him to get waaaay low. The wheels get tucked in the process. If you want to compare how it looks static/on coilovers, stick to the first 6 pages or so |

Q, the carbon signal 3 piece front lips how does it attach from under the Bumper? Also, same does for the side pieces too? Thanks
|
Mine is bolted, they suggest using a silicone type body adhesive, but I wanted to be able to remove it.
|
Thanks for answering back. Another question, where did you purchase the 3 piece lip kit and side blades? Plus, can you show some pics of how you have it all in installed.

Carbon signal
You have to PM them or email them, can't order thru a website because it's 1998 |
Just some eye candy to look at until its all back together. Worked on it this past weekend and pretty much did everything i need to before slapping it back in. Will tie up some odds and ends today and be ready to drop it back in Friday night or Sat morning. Hope to be back together this weekend.
Hoisting it out, engine and tranny. Simple process with the core removed. https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2459/3...0321e873_b.jpg Once that hunk of metal is out there isn't a whole lot left to see. https://c1.staticflickr.com/4/3837/3...e0c0a8b0_b.jpg I cheated and worked through most of the day without pictures. But here is most of what can be done out of the car. There were a couple lines and hoses attached after these but thats pretty much it. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/527/32...8a7c98a7_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2501/3...1724237c_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2768/3...de599513_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2678/3...cdc3f2fd_b.jpg Wastegate Vac Fittings https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2785/3...c6bc5a79_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/612/32...3ed26894_b.jpg Billet oil drain is a nice touch. https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2380/3...b5c7feae_b.jpg Added some Z1 Poly Motor Mounts and Trans mount as well https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/318/32...827af959_b.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/3/2265/3...9afe15e0_b.jpg Steering Rack shims, LOADS better than the straight cut GTM spacers that were raw steel.
