So Now that I have this Mag Black 370 everything is right with the world. I honestly like the 370z cabin so much( mostly due to the fact that I fit) that I think Ive finally settled on a platform to enjoy. Below is the Car in question. Purchased earlier this year, Apr 14th 2014.

So, after driving a total of 19 hours and 2 tickets later I made it make home to Florida. I believe the next day I started plotting what was gunna come apart first. I decided headlights needed to be painted. The door handles and badges needed love too.
Before http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps910690b5.jpg During http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psf8e5b001.jpg After http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psd029b8b9.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps5f391465.jpg EVO-R badges http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psbf691dae.jpg |
So since April Ive been debating to do Authentic Amuse or Nismo. I settled on Nismo pieces because I was able to source all my Nismo parts for under $1000. Patiences is worth $$$.
Prior to Nismo Conversion http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps90f88ac0.jpg Lets not forget BC Coilovers and Suspension Pieces. I went with BC BR type coilovers cus I like the ride quality. For the front upper control arms, I already had Kinetix laying around. Rear I bough SPC links and energy star lockout bolts. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps6067f797.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps4a4417d8.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps2a435b79.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps2a435b79.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps80359758.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps24a58a6e.jpg |
So, Last week 27 September 2014 I finally had all my Nismo pieces.
http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps66785fb5.jpg Annnd after body work to de-badge and paint I immediately started disassembly and reassembly. Im too lazy to locate the during photos but if your interested in doing this, I can explain better with pics what you will need to buy or make/modify. Finished Nismo install :tip hat: http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps4a45c7ae.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps49a69572.jpg |
So next I needed wheels. Having a lot of experience with Works, Rays Weds etc I decided that expensive, high care wheels were something I didn't want to deal with at this time. I purchased a set of Forgestar F14's From Jason @ getyourwheels.com. Jason sent me this pic of my set a couple days ago. I can't wait!

Man you went through some Z's. I really liked your '08, very clean. I've debated ever since getting my 370 that I should of just got a 350 to track instead.
I was trying to source a rear Nismo bumper for the longest but gave up. That is an awesome deal to get the full kit for that much. I think you need the Aerojacket Type III spoiler. Other than that Great job! |
Man, you love your Zs! Awesome job on the Nismo conversion.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it :tip hat:
So I was leaving Work today, Im enjoying the last couple days I have left in the Air Force, and driving this beauty to all my appointments. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psa61cf249.jpg Then I get home and find my F14s on the doorstep. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps4dd29a1b.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psd5abff6f.jpg Ill have some more updates tomorrow after I get the fronts on… I installed Z1 extended wheel studs a while back, unfortunately they are too long for the 4 different sets of lug nuts I have laying around :eek dance: So Im cutting them all to length so I don't have to replace them again…Its a PITA. |
So this weekend - 4Oct2014 was super busy for me… Had to do some more adjusting on my BC's and wheel studs before I could get her aligned. Then I had to remove my front bumper as it will not clear any alignment racks… This seems to be standard practice for me..
At the shop getting aligned. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps08368051.jpg First photo shoot. I think I nailed the theme here. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psac5b3793.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...psffa98dad.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...a4-1-1-1-1.jpg http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p...ps5dcca641.jpg |
