Very cool work sir. I'm planning on working with carbon fiber parts in the near future. I'm super excited to watch the build.
Can you tell me any more information about the radiator placement? It looks like it would be really efficient tilting it forward like that. I think the C7 and other race cars do that too.... yeah more info would be good. |

I got a new place where to store and work on Megan!
There is a few shop tooling that will be useful this winter ;) My 2nd working location which is much better than working under a cheap car shelter !!! I hope this will increase my motivation to work on Megan atleast. A must project that needs to be done ASAP is to relocate the power steering pump where the A/C use to be. The main bracket is done. Now I just need to make a belt tensioner which isn't gonna be a hard task!
I keep forgetting I have an HR now because the VHR has an extra idle pulley which would be useful at this moment. I'm pretty sure I can bolt on the VHR bracket to get that extra idle pulley to have a proper belt engagement on the crank pulley. Have you looked into an electric pump or a electric power steering conversion? It might be less of a head ache and being able to shift the weight somewhere else. Plus the reduced drag on the engine.

I received some parts for the new 2014/2015 setup last week and I had some motivation during the weekend to start on the future F/I exhaust.
the driver side is a bit tight with that steering column right in the way which required a bit of work to get it and then the passenger side was quite easier. the next step tomorrow is to pull the engine to start relocating some piping such as the fuel and power steering pipes and then look for the proper location to drill a 4'' hole into the firewall !! http://www.the370z.com/members/megan...-i-exhaust.jpg |
