Wolfi´s Black 370Z
I got my Z one week ago and so far loved every minute I spent with "her"!
Unfortunately, streets were wet when I left the dealer with only 19 kilometers on the clock, so she got dirty on the way home already. Since then, weather hasn´t improved much and there was no sunny day to take nice pictures yet. After one week, I already drove 690 km with her and she needs a bath before taking good pics. I´m gonna start a journal here to share my experiences with my new Z with you. I would like to thank everyone here for the help and for sharing my enthusiasm and happiness! |

When I returned from the dealer on pickup-day, I found a letter from AK in the mail.
The premium member decals had arrived the same day as the Z - very fitting. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last week I got a small VentureShield clearbra sample installed on my hood, to see how it looks on black. I´m quite happy with the result and now am waiting for quotes to get as much covered as I can/want to afford. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On break-in, I decided to do it the recommended way (1st 2000 km <4000 rpm, no WOT). This doesn´t mean I baby my baby, she get´s driven quite sportily, lots of torque and rpm changes (as recommended), just with the above exceptions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I plan to give my engine some loving care right after the break-in period, i.e. do an early oil change. Therefore I´m getting some Motul 300V Power Racing 5W-30 Oil and am trying to import an oil filter magnet and a mag drain plug from the U.S. I´m thinking about removing and cleaning the oil pan as well on the 1st oil change to get rid off as much metal stuff as possible... I´ll furthermore get a pair of K&N engine air filters to give it a little better breathing. Stuff like Stillen or Injen intakes are mostly prohibited for street use here in Germany... |

Yesterday at work I parked besides my colleague´s 350Z roadster and took some pics with my (crappy) mobile´s cam.
Another colleague joined us with his RX-8 to complete our company´s rice racer phalanx: (Note the blushing 4-cylinder Audi TT in the background) |
