There is no need in getting all worked up pro or con. I hope We can have this continue with everyones cooperation so there is no need to escalate things. I do understand this type of build is not for everyone, But the Op has every right to share his build in good or bad taste being subjective of course so there's no need to start a flame war. Honestly it's not worth it. "Opinions are like a$$holes Everyone has one" I honestly can't believe what that poor Z is going thru, But again it's NOT my Z. imo |

OP: keep posting progress.. There are plenty of people out there who can appreciate the work being put in whether it is their style or not.

Dat damn Porsche......MMMMmmmMMMmMmMmMmMm user647_pic23622_1287952881.gif
Since the OP is on full air, I'm sure if we (as a group) cut the shit he'll throw us a few pics of it finished but not all laid out. Just aired up a little so the wheels aren't so cambered in, and maybe some rolling shots. It's not like I'm asking for monster truck pics fully aired up, but I'd take those also oh and if you don't like how it looks.....Don't look.

It's Monday. That means updates. Almost ready for primer. Put the wheels on just to see it. I'm excited. We are in the final stages

Legitimate question and not flaming/hating, but what has taken so long? When you first started the widebody back at the beginning of May, it seemed like progress was moving along quite nicely.
Just wondering if the timeline is because of setbacks of the shop or if you did not give them a deadline. I've had my fair share of horror stories with blown deadlines. Either way, I'm excited to see the end results.

Unless you're building a car for SEMA I've never heard of a body shop that actually hits deadlines.. Plus I think they finished the front fenders then went back and redid them.

If it's like most shops, longer projects tend to be delayed as "small" jobs come in that get turned around for quick payments etc. They end up delaying the long term work significantly. That and the one or two guys that usually are dedicated to your project take holidays, get sick, etc.
