I think we can all appreciate the wide body.
I think the 370z has some of the best body lines.

I don't see this as "rice." When I think "rice" I think cheap-looking and/or non-functional mods (eg, big spoiler on a car that won't go over 80 mph). While the wild camber is, at best, non-functional, the fat wheel wells could house some big rubber and are arguably pleasing to the eye. IMNSHO, the bodywork is anything but rice. YMMV

re-read what i said in regards to it being rice. i specifically say that i like the wide body IF it had wide fat rubber.

i said the stupid camber and stretched rubber is rice.

Your comment is contradictory.
You said when you think "rice" you think non-functional, so both the stretched tire and the "stance" falls under your very definition of "rice"

I don't think anyone is arguing the fact that the widebody is not "rice."

Fair enough. Not trying to get in an argument. To each their own and all that good stuff.

no argument here just clarifying my statement.

but that "to each their own" statement is kinda lame. doing something horrible doesnt make it ok because its their thing.

no one says that about Hitler and killing millions of jews. it's a horrible thing but it's what he wanted to do.

see my point?

Since I didn't even mention the stretched tires, I fail to see the contradiction. But I do have to agree that it's pretty rice-y in my book.

Apparently I didn't interpret the previous comments as they were meant. Sorry for any confusion.

Right... Because the genocide of over 6 million people and some guy widening his fenders a few inches are totally one in the same.

Maybe it's all a ruse. Maybe he is just saying those are the wheels he is using but he is really going to throw on some crazy fat tires and raise it up a bit and be internet famous on the370z.com for doing exactly what everyone else thinks he should! Or he can just keep on doing whatever the f*ck he wants since it's his car and he's paying the body shop bill.

stanced out cars is exactly that though. it's killing millions of perfectly fine cars. stancing is like the gas chamber of cars.

Ah damn, how did I miss this build. In for your updates.

To the haters: there is no right or wrong way to build a car. This is his build thread and you should respect what he is doing to his own car and he shoud be able to share his updates without harassment

This forum can be particularly close-minded and many of you just do the same mods like a bunch of mindless sheep and will hate on something that is different. It gets very old...

I for one love these crazy extreme adventures! It's his car, let him do what he wants! Whether it's my style or not, I appreciate his sense of adventure and desire to have something truly unique. Whether or not it's your style is irrelevant. He's not on here telling us his car is better than ours... Just different! Let him have his fun.
