jwick Build Thread - First BP - G37T in existence

I'm not ashamed to admit I'll be much less help once we start wiring stuff up. For some reason I have a mental block for electrical stuff.

I've had to learn a lot considering all of the electrical additions I've made to the truck. By the time the weekend is over you'll both feel more comfortable with it. I picked up a new ohm meter that also has an amp clamp. We'll be able to troubleshoot any issues pretty easily with it.

It's not that difficult to wire everything up, it's the making it look neat and tiddy that's a pain.

I'm sure I'll get plenty of practice with all of the electronic stuff left on the parts table.

I'm optimistic...it's all the routing that I think is going to suck

Have you decided if you're going to use that Bluesea cable clam or not?

Haven't look yet. I'm thinking everything we need will pass through the grommet

You order the pipes wrapped or do it yourself? Looks like a thing of beauty!

Thank you!

Wrapped them myself using safety wire. Safety wiring is so much better than those damn SS ties or hose clamps. I am also wrapping all the electrical and vacuum hose within line of sight of the hotside side piping or turbo.

Great build! just sifted through your install and magnificent wrap job. Where does the air filter sit? Right next to the turbo? Are you routing it somewhere else? worried about water or hydrolock at all?

Thanks bud. Wrapping that crossover pipe was not fun. Air filter is clamped directly to the turbo. It's pretty protected in there. If you ran into enough water to get it wet, it would probably be enough water to carry the car away.

I had no clue you went boost.. Congrats! and thumbs up for DIY.

Whoever owns that garage.. Such badass! Must be really nice to have a lift at home. I've had my fair share of back aches. lol
