I'm actually more interested in sound clips of old BP V1 with Stillin vs BP 1.5 with FI.

Little late for that. Best I can do is V1.5 with Stillen and then V1.5 with FI. You could check my photobucket. There are some dyno pulls from my original tuning session.

Definitely going to be an entire different ball game. Sorry if I missed it but what resonator option did you go with?

None. Considering I'm running a pretty large single turbo Tony thought the non-res would be the best sounding combination. Considering he has what I consider the best exhaust option for the platform I went with his recommendation. I can always swap it for a resonated x-pipe later on if it's too much noise.

To much noise? dont be silly.

Nice I am running the non-res as well and love it. Id say you made the right choice.

Me too...mine is a 3" setup so not as loud as the 2.5", but it makes plenty of sweet music.

I trust what Tony recommends. I mean he was more than helpful walking me thru my setup and custom ordering only the exhaust items I needed for my setup. Being the only G37 BP tubro kit in the world he and I kind of worked thru serial number 001 together. Can't say enough for his customer service and free platform knowledge he provided even though I was running a competitors kit.

**** I'd probably be running his kit if one existed for the G.:rofl2:

I don't think that BP is Tony's competitor lol

You think the 3" is quieter? Interesting, I definitely have this on my list of upgrades but was hoping for more sound!

Hotrodz 12-01-2014 07:21 PM

You got to remember that you are going with a 3" exhaust for performance first...it flows better so more potential power and less back pressure and sound. But don't worry it's not that much less everyone will know you are coming before you get there. :rofl2:

Car is now in the hands of the tuner. I dropped the old Stillen muffler myself at the shop so I could bring it home. Fired it up with just straight pipe and seriously considered just having it tuned that way

Get it back next weekend. I'll keep everyone posted

Hotrodz 12-10-2014 08:21 PM

Wat up...any update on the tune?
