alright so im tired of getting pulled over for a dumb reason "i dont have the front license plate on".... sooo my guys and had to do a rush job and my dad went off island so i snuck in a lil project of mine.... haha  this is similar to the stillen one but longer... this one is about 9 1/4 while the stillen is only a 6-7 i believe reason why mine has to be so damn long is the amuse front.... ill post pics when im done :happydance:

GaleForce 02-04-2012 08:10 PM

Lucky to have easy access to that equipment! Waiting for more pics... lol

KaienZ34 02-04-2012 08:49 PM

simota1 02-05-2012 03:57 AM

update

so im a lil frustrated and i wont lie.... my first idea of having the license mount exactly like the stillen one looks extremely retarded with the amuse.... so i recessed the bracket from 9 1/4 to 7.... i also changed the mounting bracket from one that looked exactly like the stillen one to a angle iron bar which worked great for being stiff and strong... the flat plate i made originally like the stillen one was a lil flimpsy... so now the plate is recessed about an inch from the front bumper... but i feel that it kinda steals the flow of the curves of the front bumper..... so tomoro imma go from 7 to only 3 inches long and recess it more which i feel will now look clean and not ruin the look of the front bumper.... ill post pics tomoro... :D

So i was thinking last night and i wanted to list the final mods i have left,....

1) Carbon Signal Fenders...
2) Carbon ELement will redo my door panels in red kevlar....
3) Password Jdm engine covers
4) and lastly and i only made up my mind recently about this... 40th anniversary BBK kit with cross drilled rotors... so pretty much upgrade my brakes to akebonos... i dont really race but i wanted a BBK and i wanted red calipers... so i think this will do.... and i love the fact they say nissan haha

steps 1.. 2... 3... is going to be finished this year....

4 is set for early next year  im still playing with the idea of a motordyne intake mani and some lightweight pulleys.... also but like i said i dont race her anymore but i would love to have even more hp lol....

simota1 02-05-2012 08:06 PM

http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...g?t=1328493826

here is the final outcome... a very small 3'' from top to bottom including the thread.... i wasted alot of aluminum with this trial and error lol  ill post pics of the bracket on my car later  btw i didnt have any paint lying around... so i plasti dipped it lol matte black baby FTW

simota1 02-05-2012 08:15 PM

also i got an idea playing around in my head for the cubby... im thinking of putting shift knobs in there.... i get bored pretty fast with them... i love my password jdm shift knob but im getting a lil bored of it already... so im thinking for the cubby ill make like a showcase holder for diff knobs so i can change em up depending what i feel for... LOL really geeky but you know lol different

Can't wait to see the final version. From the other pictures I imagined you used 10' of aluminum stock for a 3" piece? :bowrofl:

if you really want that fender, you can always send them a pm for a custom fender. they're actually more towards one off products. good luck bro

They would rather invest the time in a complete one off part instead of pulling another fender from an existing mold?

i think for shipping costs they shipped the actual mold to florida where it was being produced by their partners or something like that.... :( im keeping my fingers crossed on the phunk guy... i sent him a pm he says he has a set he never put on yet...

quagmire87 02-08-2012 03:05 PM
