*** edit *** im particularly worried because this can be very dangerous especially entering the highway where cars are speeding and you HAVE to speed up from a dead stop

This happened to me while turning left on Route 1 from Hagatna. I was going with the flow of traffic and decided to pass a truck. I stepped on the gas and nothing happened. The car wasn't overheating or hesitating in any way, but it just wouldn't go any faster. I drove it all the way to the Navy base, shut it off, and did some shopping. After that, everything was fine. Weird.

I am not liking this! To many people talking about their Z lagging now! :shakes head:

Oh, and I only had the Z for about 2 months when it happened.

 WTF! I would have panicked, has it happened since then?

I have never had my Z lag or bog down what so ever…….

i think this was that same exact problem i had when i turned it into the dealer almost 2 years ago.... now it happened to me again..... i drove the car yesterday and it felt fine though?!? i did multiple WOT runs and no hesistation... freaking weird..... it did teach me one thing though DO NOT attempt a WOT when you are at a dead stop and the car is coming fast.....

Welcome to the world of "throttle lag", many here have this issue. In addition another known issue (feature) is the engine stalling out when gas level is less than half a tank full. Especially during hard right hand turns (on ramps). g/l Jon and hope it's just some bad gas.

Jon - here's a link to a FS thread with a cheap OEM steering wheel if you need one as a core to get your CF wheel

Thankfully it hasn't happened since, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

Dunno...picked it up while I was purchasing TWM short shifter figuring WTH I'll give it a shot. Well it increased throttle response before and even after I installed other mods (pullies and UpRev Tune). So I would would say it's a GO ! Dunno know how it compares to other boxes. This one does work even after pully install and UpRev Tune. My initial thought was I would not need it after the tune, BUT it still increase throttle response after it. :tiphat:
