I don't follow this build thread often, only at 4AM when I can't sleep. I have no idea what a JDM steering wheel is, but I expect to see pics on FB, lol

Jon, the CF Steering wheel is dope, but to much $$$ ($1,150) plus the purchase price of a core steering wheel to send off to Japan..WOW That is outa my budget ballpark. Sure is a nice wheel though. Be waiting for the pics after your install.

drove my z today.... at a stop light as i rolled off my z bogged for a good sec or two and so i gave it more throttle.... except when i did nothing happened... so i floored it and then finally after what seemed to be 2-3 secs after that my z launched.... has anyone ever experienced this?

*** edit *** im particularly worried because this can be very dangerous especially entering the highway where cars are speeding and you HAVE to speed up from a dead stop

This sounds similar to the issue I had a few months back. Ended up being all electrical, I had a fried IPDRM and EMU. All I gotta say is if you take it to a dealer pull your ground wire first. They gave me **** about it.

Your sure it's not fuel related. My Z actually runs out of gas at 130 miles until empty. At first I didnt know why it was bogging at 135 miles till empty since it appeared to have gas. Then I thought fuel pump. When actually the reading is incorrect and I was actually out of gas or running low. Not sure we have the same issue but maybe u can check fuel flow

I did have a similar experience with my Z. It came up as "clutch circuit 2" it was related to the SynchroRev match. The dealer told.me.to.bring it in immediately!! My sport mode also came up on the left hand warning board...... This happen to u too?

S-mode is actually the SRM system not sport mode :tiphat:

unfortunately we are no lucky enough to drive Mercedes SLK550 AMG's :yum: (or other cars with true sport modes) I was lucky enough to detail one a few times. They have a sport mode, the car actually lowers electronically and engine sounds meaner, probably opens some exhaust by passes or valves to

Jon - I hope it all works out for you and the Z! Hope fully it was just a fluke or something random and nothing damaged.

simota1 12-05-2013 07:21 PM

thanks guys... i dont have sport mode :(...

thanks mike..... im hoping that too...... i did a couple WOT runs to work and she was fine
