yep he went samco he posted them a week or two ago when he got them and installed them if you look a little bit back farther you will see the posts

Jon hood looks great! I hope when you paint it you keep a little CF showing in some spot cause the CF work varis does looks phenomenal and I wouldn't want to cover it all up IMO

Congratz on finally getting your TS oil cans and rad cap, good to see they hooked you up for the delay to! They should realize that you have bought basically everything from them! :tiphat:

now that you mention it... im actually starting to fall in love with it purely raw cf..... i really wanna paint it but at the same time i dont wanna cover the nice weave of cf of the hood.... :ugh2: well see... i actually have an idea how to make the hood flow with the body...

biggest reason why i wanna paint it.. cf hoods look kinda cut off on our cars but once i do the "curve" i think itll flow nicely even if its pure CF

thanks man....

NP :tiphat: Hood is gorgeous I am sure what you do will be sexy as h3ll

I would make the windshield pillars CF if you leave the hood as is.

I'll Prob Get Flamed But....

I love the hood and I was thinking of buying the carbon signal inserts. I am in Miami and when it rains here (like everyday in the summer) it pours an ocean on you... I never seen rain like this till I moved here! My questions with the open vents will that hit my cold air intake and stall me out????

i give a total  to VARIS.... my hood had zero fitment issues... it installed in about 5 mins.. it took me longer to unclip the lines for the water squirters then to install the hood and align it

one of the biggest reasons why i bought a JDM hood is that they come with a rain gutter channel built in... i am not sure if you know where guam is.. but rain is a HUGE part of island life.... it rains here the whole year :shakes head: when the rainy season hits i would say it rains like an ocean also :bowrofl: the varis hood comes with block offs so when it rains your motor stays dry when there is enough water to fill the block offs it will then pass through the rain gutter chamber and come out of two small holes near the head lights thus leaving the whole dirty soaked motor outa the picture ;)

this i would do ;) i wanted to do this since i had my car shot at the paint shop the only problem i had was shipping the pillars was close to $300 bucks to ship them to carbon element :( and when i looked into seibon pillars... i have heard they fit like sh!t i then asked carbon signal to make me pillar overlay caps but they never got back to me :(
