(Not trying to flame, genuinely confused as to what the bar is trying to accomplish other than look freakin awesome)

yes it mounts in the factory points.... the difference is the stock bar is just an aluminum with foam inside..... the amuse titan bar has a chromoly tube inside the titanium which you can attach a racing harness to.... its pretty damn heavy actually lol

I see.

That's cool. Personally, I don't think the factory mounting scheme is strong enough to trust to a harness for any real tracking, but having more options is always better.

Too bad it's got a steel core, full titanium would be awesome, albeit prohibitively expensive.

im pretty sure it woulda been ridiculously expensive.... i got a qoute for their hood which is made of autoclave cf no frp at all and it cost like 6k.... im pretty sure a full titanium woulda cost around 3k or something around that ball park....

Sh0velMan 03-26-2013 02:42 PM

Oh, it could be done cheaper than that I would think, depending on how they went about purchasing the materials. It'd be close to a grand in raw materials though.

Just wouldn't be worth it at all, since that weight is behind the driver and the difference would be a relatively few pounds.
