small update....
jdm foot lamp kit.... well ive always been wanted to do this mod to my z.... i absolutely loved the idea of a mood lighting in the feet area... thought it was a bit dark.... anyways... although i was eager for this mod... i thought 200 dollars plus 50 shipping for a 2 orange leds was a bit much for the mod... so rather than spending that much for the oem ones... i got my self some small 5 leds... that were red... i wanted to use amber... but it seems all leds that are amber are a bit yellowish orange instead of dark orange like our interior... so i thought red was a better alternative... here are some quick crappy pics... ill take more pics when i install the greddy drl look alikes... should be in a day or two.... and also my 6000k bulbs
http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...g?t=1284988435 http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...g?t=1284988804 o and i wanna add that... the leds i added arent super bright like neon glow... i didnt want that effect in my z... i really wanted it to look like the foot lamp kit so even if the pics look like the red is super bright... it isnt at all.... i think it puts the cherry on top for my interior lighting :happydance: |

Looking good, Sim!! Looking real good! |

I love the overlay! Hook a brother up! Lights look amazing also, MR works? I prefer that style over the landing strip LEDs.
|
Jebus bro! You wanna trade cars? Haha, did you do the DRLS yourself too? The overlay looks great too. I don't like the glare that comes off it when the sun hits it...

does that side clear if you remove those details?
and dude...ease up on the heat, those weld beads are humongous :p |
Its not enough that simota is spending all his money on parts, but now he is taking the free time of looking for the house on the car. I am gonna keep looking in your local paper to make sure you dont end up on the dead pages.

That overlay looks great. That ugly silver gauge was always something that I've been irritated about the Z.
The greddy DRLs also look very sharp:tiphat: |
