idk man its clear LOL they call it "titanium" clear tint over here... i didnt believe it first, but my friend had it and it was a noticeably cooler in his 240.... i dont like dark tint even light black tint cuz i cant see well at night so this worked out wayyyy better... i actually had medium tint from the dealer but i ended up stripping it off after a month and almost smacking into a civic at night :shakes head: it blocks off 99 uv rays and 45-55% heat  its kinda kool in the after noon cuz u can see the haze it puts out.... i cant decribe it but it looks kool kinda like a grayish see through gold?!? lmao...

i also did the oil change finally!!! fresssshhhh royal purple again  good for another 3500 miles... :happydance:

Jamaica 09-05-2010 02:20 AM

simota1 09-20-2010 08:21 AM

small update....

jdm foot lamp kit.... well ive always been wanted to do this mod to my z.... i absolutely loved the idea of a mood lighting in the feet area... thought it was a bit dark.... anyways... although i was eager for this mod... i thought 200 dollars plus 50 shipping for a 2 orange leds was a bit much for the mod... so rather than spending that much for the oem ones... i got my self some small 5 leds... that were red... i wanted to use amber... but it seems all leds that are amber are a bit yellowish orange instead of dark orange like our interior... so i thought red was a better alternative... here are some quick crappy pics... ill take more pics when i install the greddy drl look alikes... should be in a day or two.... and also my 6000k bulbs

http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...g?t=1284988435

http://i816.photobucket.com/albums/z...g?t=1284988804

o and i wanna add that... the leds i added arent super bright like neon glow... i didnt want that effect in my z... i really wanted it to look like the foot lamp kit so even if the pics look like the red is super bright... it isnt at all.... i think it puts the cherry on top for my interior lighting :happydance:

rico magic 09-23-2010 04:57 PM

Jebus bro! You wanna trade cars? Haha, did you do the DRLS yourself too? The overlay looks great too. I don't like the glare that comes off it when the sun hits it...

does that side clear if you remove those details?

and dude...ease up on the heat, those weld beads are humongous :p

Chris_1 09-25-2010 12:38 PM

Its not enough that simota is spending all his money on parts, but now he is taking the free time of looking for the house on the car. I am gonna keep looking in your local paper to make sure you dont end up on the dead pages.

Ricochet48 09-25-2010 01:16 PM

That overlay looks great. That ugly silver gauge was always something that I've been irritated about the Z.

The greddy DRLs also look very sharp:tiphat:

:bowrofl:yah it clears... i got the highest side on the top and the lowest side on the bottom..... basically drew a line across / <<< like that from the bottom point to the top point.... :happydance:... about the welds... i have no idea how to weld small lol there about 1/4 size  so not to huge... i do however have two welds on the bottom that are about 3/8 big.... this happened because of a mad gap between the aluminum pieces which was my error LMAO... sooooo i just made the weld huge to cover it up hahahahahaah its ok though cuz that part is hidden.....
