( i have like 4 pending projects id like to do but im always so busy it sucks :( ) i tend to get really bored with my shift knobs and ive realized ill just keep a collection so when im tired of it ill just switch it to another one i wanna use :bowrofl: i know i know im retarded and silly..... |

http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...49791891_n.jpg http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...90008388_n.jpg http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...26235607_n.jpg so we worked on my z today.... and guess what it WAS the master.... man the clutch feels so new again.... real smooth..... :D anyways i think i know why it gave out... all im gonna say is if you didnt bleed ur clutch fluid yet BLEED IT!!!! there was so much crap in my lines and master it was ridiculous.... we did a gravity bleed first and then we went crazy bleeding all the black stuff out... we went through about half the bottle of some synthetic DOT4 then bleed it again with some MOTUL RBF 600 good stuff.... i was gonna install the clutch SS line but i decided to hold off until my TWM SS comes in well do it again and rebleed the system to make sure all that crap is outa the system... i was really suprised with how much dirt was in there at 10k.... my company trucks put this car to shame.... they have more than 40k on them and the clutch fluids arent as dirty as the Z :shakes head: anyways changing it out wasnt to bad... i did have a hell of time fitting under my dash..... ive never experienced so much flexibility in my entire life.... those two nuts are high up in there and pretty much so much crap blocking it from either side including this massive plate thing. I dont even know what the point of that plate blocking the two nuts were for.... a swivel is definitely ur best friend on this one.... :) anyways looks like i dodged the bullet.... so back to modding for the Z!!!! :D |
That's awesome bro, glad you got things fixed up

so my silicone cap offs finally came in last week and since my dad is off island i got some free time on my hands... i did a throttle body coolant delete mod... basically it warms up your throttle body so it dont freeze shut during winter.... it never gets cold on guam and i really would like to eliminate as much useless crap there is in our engine bay so this was one of them
http://sphotos-a.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...23948519_n.jpg http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...82058272_n.jpg the demon hose between the firewall and block wasnt as horrible as i would have imagined..... it did however take me about 30 mins to tighten the stupid hose clamp down there.... and my hand was cramping from the akward position i had to be in to tighten it... you absolutely cannot see wth your tightening but other than that everything is easy as pie.... i opted for silicon caps over rubber ones because they last longer  and silicone is the way to go  if anyone is interested i can post a link where i got it.... here is the link to WSTAR DIY http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...nt-delete.html |
