you have to readjust the part which it clips on the hood, or make a new one.

you guys are so lucky your body shops out there are so prestine... most body shops here like to short cut... :shakes head:

didnt get much done today... got out of work pretty late.... put on my side skirt to see if it lines up and boom.... another huge gap... FML... this one isnt a problem because ill just add some fiberglass and filler but man.... what a great way to end my crap day already.... im exhuasted... i decided imma mount the other side so i can see wether its a even worse fitment or not..... im hoping it fits the same way the first fender did.... if theres a gap im hoping its next to the door... because if it deals with the hood or headlight... geez man.... on a bright side.... i thought of a way to fix the door gap with out having to cut the whole damn vent out... but im not 100% sure it will work... we will see as i get closer to making that decision... :ugh2:

carbon signal..... :( they are actually really good friends of mine... they actually out sourced and had these made in the US... i think thats why they stopped dealing with the guys that made it for them because of this type of issue....

daaammm bro best of luck, i know how much it sucks especially when you have waited so long to install something and then an issue like this comes up, well what you could do is leave it half cf and half painted, you fill out the gaps and have that parts painted, and leave the middle part where the vent is in cf, a few members did it and i think it looks great check out the pics from this link

bro i never even realized the flyest1s car had painted part of the fender.... near the cf part about an inch forward.... THANK you zuperman!!!! rep going your way... thats what im definitely gonna do..... you think itll look nice on red? im still not 100% sure it will flow...

zuperman 370 05-10-2012 08:06 AM

man it will defiantly look nice on red, to me it looks nicer than having it in full cf, cuz if u have it in full cf then your car will seem copped dont know how to explain it, like fenders in cf then doors in red, here are a few more pics, i think this is your best option for your situation plus looks much nicer than leaving the whole fender in CF

zuperman 370 05-10-2012 08:14 AM

100% Correct sir.....

KaienZ34 05-10-2012 08:58 AM

I'm painting 98% of my fenders, only leaving a little trim in CF. Subtle like, i'm hoping it looks stock like on the GT-R.
