Like I said got about 2 hours in today! Did the oil pan as well...moving along quite nice...super instructions btw... one of the guys in the shop worked for our performance shop when we had it he has done numerous turbo and engine swaps and he was floored with how complete this kit is...

Yep. Best, most complete, kit for the money. I have said that from day one. I'm surprised more people from the "group buy" haven't gone this way.
The instructions are great, and the customer service and support from Sasha is second to none. Looking good BTW.

Got the IC piping on an the flanges tacked on, the turbo is a beeotch to get into the IC pipe, but of course I have no manifold to bolt the turbo up to at present! Tomorrow I will do the fuel pump and charge pipes, then it is a waiting game on the manifold to come back from the welder and the PCM which I sent to RT to be flashed!

Looking good...I hope the tacks were very good, and all around the flanges.
This is important because things will shift when being welded, and can really throw things off. The manifold flanges are the absolute last thing I weld for that reason. Welding will change the size of the pipes to the point where things may not fit after welding (if everything was to be welded at once).

Current update, Im almost done, got the flanges welded, did have a sight fitment issue, but it was quickly handled by both Sasha and Bryan at Berk Technology, after getting the manifold on, it was a 1/2 inch too short causing the turbo to contact the subframe. The solution was simple but hopefully effective, I added another flange between the header and the manifold, just on the passenger side giving the turbo the proper clearance. Today I got everything underneath done today, yesterday I did the charge pipes. Fuel pump is done as well, just a short list of what needed to be finished:
1. Solder new fuel pump harness in 2. Run wideband harness 3. put PCM back in (R/T shipped it yesterday!) 4. Put interior back together 5. Oil up and find all the leaks! a few pics: too close for comfort! As of today:

I plan on running the base map for a few weeks to make sure everything is installed and road worthy, then end of march install a boost controller and take the ride over to r/t to finish it off! Gale what wastegate spring are you running, and I assume Vince was ok with that much TQ, I see most people on the forum say to keep it around 400 ish on the stock internals.

When I took it to Vince, he asked me what I wanted out of the car/tune. I said it would be nice to see anything over 500 rwhp, as long as he thought it was safe to do. The final numbers is what he came up with after that conversation. He did tell me that he doesn't recommend tracking the car on high boost. I trust him and his tune. *Unrelated to the tune* The only issue I have is the BOVs sometimes open during idle. This is an intermittent problem and I believe it throws a code when this happens. At first I thought it might be something that could be touched up with the tune, but that was before I found the BOVs sticking open. I've been meaning to call TiAL to see what they say.

I also took all my waste gate springs to R/T Tuning incase they thought they should be swapped out for something else. We left it as described in the Boosted Performance manual.
