Unless you are V2.0 make sure you get it with the E compressor cover. That S cover is going to fit without the manifold change

Just upgrade the the turbine to a 1.32 a/r...that is all. I wouldn't worry about going to the 6766 unless you want to really push things to the limit.

Correct, the S compressor cover works only on the V 2.0 of the kit, which includes a change of the manifold. He has the V 1.0 of the kit, with the modified E compressor cover. So to switch to a 6766, the new compressor cover would have to be modified.

Ok, but what about the turbo lag after that kind of upgrade ftom 1.15 to 1.32? Wouldn't that be a significant increase in the lag?

I have a built motor with Wiesel 9:1 bored .020 over and eagle rods.. I'm hoping to see the same numbers or more towards 700...but I also have z1 headers and I'm changing to the 6766 so I don't run out of breath. Also going with 1000cc injectors and possible twin pump. Going with a custom 3.5" down pipe with a fast intentions 3" duel. I also have Sasha's 3" maf pipes instead of the 2.75..Ecutek is also another mod I will be getting as well. - 3" exhaust four tips
- 1.32 AR for pt6766
- have some troubles with exhaust wheel shaft which damaged, have to buy the new one:

What fuel is this on?

It's on 100 octan european gas with 10% addiction of ethanol.

Confrats bud and a well build..can't wait to see my results since we're soooo close haha. I purchased the new AAM manifold also and my tuner will be doing before and after stuns with it to "test" it.

I was too, and I understand everyone's concerns cuz I also have them as well..but hey, I'm not on a stock motor and its boosted so might as well just see what happens..plus like I said, I've just been wanting something nicer then the ugly plastic one and its just a preference is all.
Although I love feedback from the community, in the end it's my car and what I love so I'll build it how it reflects on me....(do not mean that in any rude/cocky way)

Love this build!!! I'm totally on the fence between going CARB legal or this kit. Once together, how hard is this baby to switch back and forth between smog legal? I'd be doing it every 2 years and want to know what I'd be getting myself into. Also, are you completely satisfied with your choice of 9:1 or do you think you could have made this much hp with 10:1?

We've done some changes to make the engine ready for the bigger boost and power:

- cosworth head gasket
- strenghten the cylinders sleeves
- JUN exhaust cams

Soon I will post the dyno results, we are expecting something about 750WHP

Impressive....great job on the entire build. Next step: 6870 T4 1.32 a/r, some ethanol, and you'll be in the 900's.

Are you still running the same fuel on the new tune? Or did you go with a higher octane?

Fuel is a 100octane, best at gas stations with 10% of extra etanol. I think we are at maximum of car usability with common traction issues at 2 gear and r888 tires. At 900hp that car would be impossible to drive with steet tires.
