Looks good Jim!

So my Fujimura side skirts are here, and I must say they have me scratching my head. Not at all what I expected, in fact I had to call Sean @ Vivid to see if I got what I was suppose to get. He has never seen them before either so I guess tomorrow morning we will see. Ill go grab a pick now maybe someone here has them and can verify it is correct or not.
|
So here they are still in wrap till tomorrow. I plan to take lots of photos tomorrow incase they are correct as they are pre drilled and come with bolts. Not sure exactly where the bolts go but we will know tomorrow

That's crazy! This would be the second time your order was messed up?
|
Quote:
I hope its just a lot of wasted carbon fiber but i dunno its massive and oddly cut. |
oh and it would be the 3rd time but who is counting. ordered these (not exact ones) back in April!
Please note........ issues are not at all related to Vivid Racing, they have been great throughout the ordeal. |
Holy Stark! Those lights!
|
I'll have more photos later but the fit and finish is great!

I agree, I got some ground clearance back. can now fit a floor jack underneath it again. those sunshine/aerojacket (not sure what they where) horrible. im going to clean those up and take some pictures of them. so people can see why you pay and wait for quality. |
oh on a sad note............. I am no longer waiting for parts. I need brake pads and lines, but after that nothing!!!!! OMG what am I to do?
|
Lots of photos here
So here is the Fujimura Side skirts from the underneath. All holes are predrilled, the larger holes you see are for access to screws already on car. Notice the cut out for the jack, there is even cut outs for the plastic flaps in back.
https://38.media.tumblr.com/c1010f26...kwso9_1280.jpg here is the side skirts from above now installed. very easy to install on jack stands. recommend an extra set of hands to hold the one end while you secure the front end. https://33.media.tumblr.com/b794b467...wso10_1280.jpg and some more photos https://33.media.tumblr.com/e83c4962...kwso2_1280.jpg better photos of headlight work https://33.media.tumblr.com/80af0c08...kwso3_1280.jpg https://31.media.tumblr.com/e0e363f1...kwso6_1280.jpg https://38.media.tumblr.com/181a019f...kwso7_1280.jpg and bamm! https://33.media.tumblr.com/ccd3a785...kwso1_1280.jpg |
Very tastefully done. Great job!

I like that it's subtle, and very clean. People would have no clue you have a 500+ hp monster... until it's too late. :rofl2: |
So is there a mod worth having that im missing?
im doing brakes so lets cross that off the list. what else is there? are there any must have mods I am missing? |

More low, coilovers? rear spats or diffuser? Stereo? Seats? Roll cage or half cage? Different badges? Nismo conversion? Amuse conversion? Hope this helps spark a few ideas! |
Wing, or add-on?..... I have thought about the INGS +1 wing but would need to find a Solid Red base model to trade hatches with my sport version.
More low, coilovers? I bottom out every 10 feet now LOL rear spats or diffuser? Have the Fujimura rear diffuser now Stereo? Done Seats? Seriously considering this one Roll cage or half cage? If i start to track days i would consider this Different badges? have gone back in forth putting on gloss black badges Nismo conversion? Amuse conversion? im full Cf all the way around car now and like its look, though id do the zelle rear bumper if i could find away to make quad tips out of my exhaust |

Have you done the RJM cutch pedal assembly? I think you did, but can't remember. |
Quote:
I do have the RJM clutch pedal but havent had a chance to install it. I also have the bung extenders for the o2 sensors that I need to put in to see if it will drop the code. |
Word.
I was just spit balling ideas brother. I would say full CF would mean complete CF bumpers, but everybody has their own opinions :) yours is clean, good job. And personally I like the look of the Aero Jacket type M add-on wing. Still keeps a clean look. I believe Aero Jacket is offering those free with a amuse kit purchase, or $575 shipped in CF. I like your build, once again, good job! |
How's the leg?

So after being able to put some mileage on the Z now with the sway bars installed. I must say, the sways teamed with the swift springs.... this car feels incredible cornering at any speed now, plus the skittish feeling over rough roads are now gone because of the sway bars. I recommend anyone to do either one of these mods, but suggest to do them together, probably the best performance mods other then boost available for the car.
ordering rotors.lines and pads tomorrow ;) Jason..... steering wheel cost? |
I have eibach springs and hotchkis sways. I love em. Thing handles like on rails
So you recovered? |
Quote:
I didnt really think i would notice the sways that much, but I honestly notice them more then the spring change, the car rides so awesome right now. cant wait for next spring to try it out on a track:driving: |
