They look identical, but the rock guard up front on new version is solid. If you blow picture up you can see its open , you can also see glue/cut lines. I could hit that with a magic marker , but should I have to on something I paid a grand for?
I'm working with the vendor and ings right now and I'll wait for their final position before I comment one way or the other. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
For what it's worth the product is very high quality stuff, but it is not as advertise

Unless they make you a hell of a deal I say swap them. You shouldn't have to patch something you bought new

So sent the side skirts back today, lets hope everything goes smoothly with the return process and I can start waiting for the new ones to come. hopefully I do not have to wait 2 months for them. Im debating putting the damaged ones back on or just leaving them off for a while. really kills my drive to enter any car shows for the summer though.
So far im happy with the vendor and their efforts, once ings accepts the return and I get a lead time on the replacements ill feel much better about the whole thing. |
Now that go is done, time to bring the sexy back!

I also sent back the Ings+1 CF side skirts I got, and am awaiting on a newer version of them to ship to me. in the mean time I have re mounted the aero jacket ones I have. Im getting close to the end of the line here, running out of things to buy.:bowrofl: I have decided, I will be digging into the internals of the engine over the winter months, dropping to a 10:1 comperssion and maybe converting to E85, need to do a little research on E85 in my area to see if it makes sense. then ill shoot for a safe 600/500:driving: |

I would help you install, but my arthritis is acting up.........lol. Seriously, I would be no help at all.......just get in the way. I understand my daughter's boyfriend contacted you about a car space this winter at the Cave. We would both like to come up for a visit, a couple of beers, etc. He is a mechanic.......specializing in Electronics............Maybe a deal can be struck here? Give me a call. |

Will give you a call for more details on that, speaking of details. When we putting the shine on yours? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah me either! Meant to last weekend, but after a 25 mile bike ride/4 mile run then cutting the grass on Saturday too tired. Then 60 miles on the bike Sunday...too tired! Cutting new landscaping bed and putting in new retaining wall Monday.....tooooooo tiiiiiired!! dangit!!:ughdance: |
We must not be modding enough. I had to go all the way to page 3 to pick up our build threads:shakes head:

My side skirt saga continues :( , not happy about it and it appears I'm gonna have to settle for something else.
My adjustable clutch peddle still sits in it's box waiting for me Also have entire sound system to install. Work is crazy busy and I'd rather be driving on the weekends. I am still in talks for E85 , need to get some free time uggh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

My wife works 14 hour shifts 3 days a week, so it even makes it harder to get things done with a 10 year old at home. I need to motivate myself to just get it done |
