For those running this kit or other high HP builds. What clutch/fly-wheel combo is most recommended for reasonable daily driveability while still holding the torque?
I'm running the Z1 6-puck w/ their lightweight flywheel and the ZSpeed CSC....has been holding the power awesomely and I don't have any problems daily driving it.

I am running Specialty Zs 6 puck clutch on the street (not a DD though) however I would have no issues DDing this clutch. I love it!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely getting this kit as soon as I can get the dealer to cover my 6th gear syncro issue and give me a new tranny. DIYing it too but going to farm out clutch and radiator upgrade.

Hey Puchshaw, ever get the chance to hit the dyno to see how much you are making after replacing the wires?

Shop hasn't had any openings over the holiday. Hopefully I can get in there soon. I'll post results as soon as I get squared away

Scheduled to be back on the dyno on Tuesday. I'm going to try to run some data logs beforehand to make sure the fuel issue is fixed.

I just took the car out to data log a couple pulls to see if the fuel pump relay did the trick. I wound out 3rd and 4th gear and logged the A/F ratio for banks 1 and 2. Past 4150 rpm the A/F was pegged at 10. I'm guessing that's the limit of the sensors. So it appears to be running very rich now rather than leaning out. I assume we should be good to go now to finish up the tune on Tuesday.

I had to do the same with my car as well. I ran the wire and now the car has had no issues with keeping the AFRs in check.

The results are in! The fuel pump relay did the trick and A/F is holding rock solid now. The car was running pig rich when they put it back on the dyno so the wiring obviously made quite a difference. Final numbers: 487 whp and 465 lb ft at just over 10 psi tapering to ~7.5 psi. Dat torque. It's pretty damn cold out right now so traction is severely limited. Having said that, the car feels like an absolute monster. 3rd gear is insane The shop is going to send me an overlay of the baseline and final runs tomorrow but for now here's the final run. Baseline by itself is in the first post.

Looks good...but I think your tuner left a lot on the table after 5,500 RPM for some reason.I say this because the power starts to fall, and I have not seen that yet with any of these kits. What boost controller do you have? The timing must be pulled waaaaaay back in the high rpm range.

I'm just using a manual turbosmart boost controller. I know they went with a safe tune for everyday use but I can't say how conservative he was. Either way, this will keep me happy for a long while Maybe when summer rolls around I'll look into pushing the kit a bit further if I feel the need.

Oh, this will keep you happy for a long time. The torque is up there that's for sure, and it is what you will feel the most. Even in summer time, you will have a hard time keeping the wheel from spinning with that torque.
