Can't wait to see the finished product. Hope you get your refund from GTM though. Things do not look good for them.

It sure is...T25 on the left (found on most TT kits), and BP's "smaller" (62mm) turbo on the right:

Big boy housings make big boy power! We did 496whp at 7.8psi on the S&R Performance kit, look forward to comparing the power delivery and power output between the two kits once our friend Puckshaw finishes his installation.
Looks good so far, great job tackling this project yourself! Thanks, Alex Goodwin AlexG@motionlabtuning.com |

Making tiny bits of progress but time is very limited during the week. The engine bay is basically all buttoned up except for the tower bar. BOV is installed. Wiring is all cleaned up for the scavenge pump. Wastegates are prepped and ready to be installed. Turbo is clocked and ready to go in. Turbo manifold is on. By the way, torquing the manifold bolt on the driver's side next to the steering knuckle is a breeze if you use a crows foot from the top through the engine bay. Otherwise it's hard to get a socket flush on the head.
All that's left is the fuel pump and installing the turbo, wastegates, and remaining exhaust

I can't remember if I put this in the manual...but when you clock the turbo, remove the compressor cover completely and put a bit of engine oil on the large O-ring that seals the compressor cover to the back plate. It will make clocking the turbo easier when it is bolted to the manifold. When you are clocking it, all the turbine housing and compressor cover bolts will need to be loose. Once you have everything clocked, just snug up one bolt on each side (compressor and turbine). This will prevent things from rotating when you pull the turbo off to tighten the rest of the bolts.
Also, a bit of oil on the inside of the silicone coupler at the turbo compressor outlet will make things a lot easier. The new silicone couplers on new aluminium tubing can bit a bit difficult due to high friction. Oil will make things a lot easier.

Snuck in a little wrench time late last night and got the turbo mounted up. That was pretty tricky. Super tight fit in there. Should be able to spend some more time on it tonight. Hoping to fire it up tomorrow

Almost there! All that I have left is the fuel pump. Everything else is installed and buttoned up. I've gone over all my connections and zip tied everything out of the way. Won't have time to work on it until late tonight but should be able to finish it up
