Dozier's Nismo Build
Hey everyone...Got my 09' Nismo yesterday. Here she is!
Has an aftermarket shift knob, JWT clutch and light weight flywheel. Cg's on the new ride! Wheels are crap on it though. Why on earth would anyone get rid of Nismo wheels for those? No concave, no lip, flat face, they are cast, uglier and weigh more. Should find him and kick him right in the junk.

Thought the same about the wheels you should really focus on wheels before you do anything else to the car.

Only problem with buying nice legit wheels like my old Work VS-XX is I daily this car, and the roads are rough. Damaged two wheels in the past. Worried about spending 3k and trashing wheels. I do like a nice deep lip though. Maybe I can find a cheap alternative to not worry so much about. Any ideas?

Well, a set of Nismo wheels run 2-$2500 in classifieds. You can get work wheels for that price. You can get M310s and look good. Those are a lot cheaper. For a good compromise between the two, forgestar F14's are nice

Yea..I am not really a concave wheel guy. I wonder how much I could sell my wheels for and buy some other wheels. There isn't one scratch on them. Pretty much brand new. Maybe 1k? I don't know the going rate for Nurburgrings used with tires.

GTR lenses installed. Map light LEDS done. Tag LEDs done. Trunk light done. Third coat on tail lights.

Yea, I might could live with them now. I'm a huge fan of lips though. I would like to trade with someone looking for flush faced wheels. However I'm not looking too much now. Amazing what a color change will do.

Three coats of clear. Pics are one coat at a time in order. Going to bed. Wet sand. Cut/buff polish in the morning with installation.

Done. Wet sanded, cut, buffed, waxed, installed.
Went ahead and removed my trunk weight also. |

You should plastidip the rear valance, and the lower parts of the sideskirts. I have seen pics of a NISMO done on here and it looks pretty good.

Installed fast intentions exhaust with 18" resonators. It's quiet. Just ordered z1 test pipes.
