Figured it out now. Using the cardboard box and heat gun trick!!! First light apart and painting.

Still waiting. Contacted them yesterday. Said they were sanding it for paint. So I hope it will be painted by this weekend, and possibly shipped next week if that makes sense? I am just glad I don't have a time frame that it "has to be" on the car in. I mean, since you bought my Nismo wing and won't be back until February, it give a pretty lax time frame of when I need my new wing.

in regards to doing the box method, how long did you put the heat into the cardboard box with the gun, I'm looking to do a custom paint on the fronts for ours. I know my oven will fit it, but was thinking about the heat gun and box idea. Thanks.

I put them in a box one at a time in indirect heat. Make sure the heat is not blowing directly on the lens of the headlights. Have it blow across the top of the head light by several inches. You need plenty of room at the top of the box for the air stream to pass over the light. I set a timer for 20 minutes. It was the perfect amount of time for the headlights sealant to be pliable. I had no problem taking it apart and I did not break anything.
