The work great. Surprised they were Italian made. Foam Cannon

Depending on your washer, you might need this. Brass Adapter

I too have a similar foam cannon. I been using it along with a Kraucher electric pressure washer for a little over a year now. It totally rocks and really changes the way you wash. No need for the 2 bucket technique. I use 1 bucket full of water to dunk the sponge in to rinse off the junk and carry on washing again. I wash then pressure wash the soap off 1 facet at a time. I also keep the car wet the whole time I wash to minimize spots. I don't like to let the soap sit for too long and slide off the car.

Man I like your car. (almost as much as mine)

Looks great. Holds really well. Sits perfectly on the hatch without any gaps. What I would have done differently is use vhb tape to protect the paint.

So what are you waiting for. Get 'er dun.......I can help you install it if you take your old wing off. Easier if you don't have the OEM wing. Drill 4 holes, use thin vhb, slap it on, tighten each side evenly until flushed.

I have my CF skirts and RJM pedals sitting around in the garage waiting to be install. Have not had the time to do it.

axmea? 11-01-2015 01:01 AM

Why is it such a hassle to clean filters? :D

Raf, can you tell me how your rear spats installed? Did you make any brackets to keep them in place? I just got mine in and I'm trying to figure out how to properly secure them to the bumper.

There's a tool that body shop uses but do not know what it is called. Also, use silicone to hold it. VHB will not last long.

CSC #2 aaarrrrghhh

So last night I sensed a noticeably different and much lighter feel on my clutch pedal. Checked CSC and topped it off (clue#2). Today I hesitantly drove it to work and sure enough, the pedal bottomed out while on the freeway and managed to steer the car to side. I planned for it by taking a bungee cord along with me. Strapped the cord to the pedal and held it on my left hand while holding onto the steering. Right hand to switch gears. Drove it 7.5 miles using this technique through freeway traffic and on surface traffic until i got to Specialty Z. This by the way is my 2nd incident. No big deal. Knowing how it is, I was not upset but rather prepared and ready to handle it.

The good news.....They have parts!!!!!! Picked up the Maxx Street clutch flywheel combo with the Tilton slave. The other good news, they drove me to work on Greg's Cayenne. Great service. Seb was out. He and his wife had a baby over the weekend. Car was in the shop until 4:45.

More about the items installed later.

Hotrodz 11-04-2015 09:22 PM

I glad everything worked out okay for you. Now no more clutch woes.

waiting for my kit to be done, I have the JDM Fujimura front with the LEDs but they didn't include the LEDs so I have to have a shop custom fabricate individual LEDs in. Then it will be off to the shop for paint and install along with the duckbill and amuse rear. This project is taking way too long.

which skirt did you get?

Zbrah 11-05-2015 05:19 PM

Thanks Raf. That picture helped me get an idea how to go about mounting it. Do you happen to know the type of silicon they used?

BeemaaZ 11-05-2015 07:00 PM

Smart move using the bungee cord! I will keep bungee cord in the trunk handy from now on.

Good thing you have not installed RJM pedal. You need to wait until the new clutch is broken in.

Ah nic4, I still have mine sitting around after I changed my mind. I will do a part out of the parts I bought but didn't use after everything is done.

hoping to have majority of them finished by the end of the month.

My Z got hurt today

Rear ended along Topanga Canyon. Clearly the guy was not paying attention. He was far enough AND I was brake checking so he could see the lights. Did not work.

Not sure how he could have done it this way. Looks like it drove upwards after the initial impact.

Sorry about your car Raf. It hurts to see it.

Sometimes I wondered if our 4th brake light actually makes people behind our car pay more attention.

Hey Bima. No. Nothing to do with the fog light. I've been watching the dude drive and he was doing something that distracted him. He was 60 feet away at least on a 40 that went to a full stop. Hurts to see it. I was cussing a storm until I cooled off. He was apologetic and admitted fault which helped me chill out.

carlitos_370z 12-16-2015 05:54 AM

I am so sorry to hear about your miss fortune. I would have been raging too. You work so hard to get your car as near perfect as possible and then some jack wagon does something stupid. Well I hope he has insurance, and then it becomes the waiting game.

Thanks Carlos. It'll be a while because I want to get the best/fairest appraisal possible and the best shop for it.

LOL exactly. Dude was from West Hills.

axmea? 01-06-2016 01:19 AM

Such a hassle to work on getting my car fixed. Numerous calls with the insurance reps and researching body shops to get the car done right. Have not started at all other than get appts with the appraisers and body shop (Cooks Collisions in Canoga and DTM Autobody in El Monte). Working on an amuse style CF bumper and skirt with Fly1 who I know is busy.

I have a brand new Sunline style skirt all CF still wrapped ready for sale. I am going in a different direction.

Until then, WELL ZED is not feeling well.

Zbrah 01-06-2016 02:25 AM

Just saw the pics :(

Sorry to hear Raf. I hope she gets fixed up and back on the road soon, with a new *** lift!

My car is going into the shop as too for a rear quarter panel fix. Stupid Socal drivers!

Zoren 370 01-06-2016 05:09 AM

Raf try Carbon Signal, one of the best CF finishes Ive seen, makes fly1 fly away from being busy repairing returned CF kits. IMO

Dang Raf. I just saw the pics. :(
Hope you find a top notch shop!

Apoc370z 01-19-2016 05:34 PM

That is probably my biggest fear, hope everything goes well.

My car is all lonely at Auto explosion and needs a friend. wouldn't go to DTM but that's just my experience with them.
