Shunya: thinking about it. I want to powdercoat my wheels darker, and it's a coin toss whether the handles will match those or the body color. dcrew1x: Yorba Linda, most

Illuminated Kick Plates installed! Amusingly I tried to have the dealership do it while I was in looking at cars...and they utterly failed to understand the instruction manual. 2 hours and a few beers later, voila!

Random night shots. I realize my camera is beyond terrible. Please donate and help me get a better one!
On the board for next week: dyno run, and off to Tony's shop for my exhaust!!! |

So I noticed this morning that my roof looks ugly. I mean UGLY. Here's a few pictures to illustrate (sorry, 5 AM just found camera so fluorescent light will have to do...)
Under clearshield: no problem! Looks like new. Outside of clearshield: wtf, did something oxidize? It doesn't reflect, it SCATTERS LIGHT. Don't mind the blemish, I got that off. You can see where the clearshield ended and the roof got...oxidized?? I haven't read the paint defect thread much, so I'll have to look at that for a bit...but anybody have any ideas? On a more positive note, baseline dyno today before I get to Tony's for installation! Last edited by phelan; 08-28-2009 at 10:04 AM. |
