Nice Phelan!

Hey all,

So I didn't bring my own camera to our NYE dim sum meet, but we had a few really good photographers out there. I'm gonna 'borrow' a few of these shots and update the car. The only change between now and before is...well, pretty obvious. The TE37SLs I think complete the exterior.

Well...once I fix my exhaust, at least :rofl2: and a few dings, dents, and scrapes I've taken since I've driven the car a bit more regularly as of late.

Thanks to christian, drew, paul, and waizzzz for the shots! Hope everybody doesn't mind I borrow them for the journal purposes. (I think I asked all of you?)

See? Here's the photographers (sans drew, who took the shot haha)

And now...I guess some pics of the car?

Looks pretty hot, I don't know if I like it more now or how it looked before with the CE's on.

Just a suggestion.. do something to break up the red around the middle of the car...a nice touch of carbon on the sideskirts or maybe if you paint the sideskirts like you did the front bumper. Something just feels a little off and I can't tell what it is. Maybe a little too much fender gap? Just nit picking for perfection here since your car is damn close to it!

+1 I agree.

CF door handles should do the trick though.

Great job on the car so far. Looks good!

Honestly I have been thinking about sprucing up the side of the car a bit. I'm hesitant to put CF back on, since I took off all the remaining accents (the ce28s had the last bit of CF to them). I'm thinking of matte black on the door handle itself (leave the outer housing red still), and putting a little accent on the sideskirt, like RCZ mentioned.

might have to photoshop it a bit to make sure it all works though.

i want to reduce the fender gap a little bit, but i can't lower the car just yet. the kit scrapes enough already! i'm waiting for a cup kit or something so i can raise and lower the front as necessary for clearance, then i'll be golden.

now, considering i've got a two tone theme going, do you think PCing the brakes red will be overkill? should i just leave it the way it is?

like on side skirts right?

Yeah, where the kit goes in a bit you paint that black.
Phelan, why not do black brakes with red accent? I think full red would be overkill and the black will allow the red stripe on the new wheels to pop more.
